about the human

award-winning dog photographer elena marchi

I’m Elena, the human behind Pawtiqe.

Drawn to mindfulness, minimalism, architecture, interior design, animal welfare, and art, my work sits somewhere between photography and observation, focusing on the way dogs exist in urban spaces.

I don’t have a dog. Instead, I’m a cat mum to two girls, Keira and Macha. They like to interrupt my video calls, so most portrait sessions include a brief virtual appearance from them too. Sorry, not sorry.

Pawtiqe is where my love for London, art, dogs, and everything monochrome comes together. It’s a space where London’s architecture meets the shape and energy of dogs. It’s quiet. Thoughtful. And occasionally a little witty.

Studio dog Photography

Minimal. Bold. Sleek.

We’re here for the flick of a paw, the line of a tail, the way one ear folds differently from the other.

My studio sessions aren’t about cuteness. They’re about noticing what makes your dog whole. Every angle. Every odd crop. Every small, overlooked detail that only you notice.

No props. No colour. No embellishment.
Just movement, form, and that kind of dogness we all know deserves its own frame.

It’s not about getting their attention. It’s about paying it.
