Lou Lou and her mum took part in my first dog photography model call in London, choosing Greenwich as the photo shoot location, to capture some portraits of the little Lou Lou in their local area.
ABOUT LOU LOU'S DOG PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION
Lou Lou was only 9 month old puppy at the time, and she was, as one would expect, full of energy. The sweet little french bulldog was super friendly and covered me with kisses from the very start of the session, definitely not a shy pup!
We met early in the morning to avoid the weekend crowds and as she was so confident and comfortable in her local area, we started the photoshoot under the arcades of Greenwich College.
She was a superstar from the very beginning, showing her sparkling personality and allowing me to easily capture some natural shots while we were all warming up. Here are a few from the start of the session:
We then moved to Greenwich National Maritime Museum, as aiming to capture some white-on-white shots of the gorgeous Lou Lou under the colonnade. She was a superstar once again, running to me and her mum between one pose and the other to collect her treat and give us a few kisses.
The location was still quiet and all to ourselves, which allowed us to take some clean shots of the lively Frenchie enjoying the sun on a cold winter day. Here are some of our favourite shots at the location:
For the second half of the session, we moved to Greenwich Park, where Lou Lou could enjoy a run off-lead and pose for a few more shots before heading back home and enjoying the rest of the weekend.
mum's thoughts on the dog portrait session
A week later I presented the edited images from the photography session to Lou Lou’s mum, who selected her favourite ones to be printed. Lou Lou’s photographs were printed and delivered just after Christmas, and although we cannot ask Lou Lou, here’s what her mum said:
“Let me just say that Elena is truly an amazing photographer and loves furbabies.
She is highly professional and so friendly. The photoshoot was fun and Elena was determined to get those perfect shots.
Her passion and talent come across in her editing and finishing too! She get the best shots back to me exceptionally quickly and I couldn’t be happier with the whole experience.
The prints are amazing and I can not wait to put them on my wall.
Don’t waste time and just book her as soon as you can. Your only regret will be not getting these shots done.
